Evoking Awe and Wonder

Unique handcrafted replica aircraft artwork

Artwork Like No Other

Corky Garko has been making things most of his life. In 2017 he started experimenting with materials and paints to capture a feeling of awe and adventure that he found in World War II aircraft. By combining elements of history, art, and crafting he produced a series of replica aircraft pieces that received enthusiastic praise. The reaction inspired more experimentation, and more exploration of what stories could be told using this unique combination of mediums.

“…the centerpiece of my collection for a few years now. Easy to get lost in thought looking at it.”

— Andrew B.

“It’s hanging in my entry way - and don’t tell anyone, but I love to touch it every now and then. I like the feel of aluminum and the tactile feeling of the rivets.”
